094376916621Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyd Fast Drying Oil Colour is great for oil painters who like to paint at speed. Griffin dries in half the time of a traditional oil colour and this means impasto and glazing techniques can be done in a single session. Griffins are also a bit more fluid in consistency than traditional oils and they dry with a somewhat more reflective surface, too.
French Ultramarine is a rich transparent blue. It was created by French chemist Guimet in 1828 as a synthetic but chemically identical replacement for the expensive pigment derived from Lapis Lazuli.
