This is the synthetic version of mongoose hair, Tadami. The Modernista series has a very natural appearance and feel. This series has a good spring and an immediate response to the brushstroke, especially with acrylic and oil painting.
The long, grey wood handle is triple crimped to the nickel-plated brass ferrule.
Escoda cures each brush to improve the spring and resilience of the hair.
